Combination Microwaves

Combination microwaves, unlike traditional microwaves that are only good for reheating leftovers or defrosting ingredients, come with the added features of fanned hot air and sometimes, with a grill. Hotpoint’s appliances have been carefully crafted with efficiency and flexibility in mind, so our combination microwaves, otherwise known as convection microwaves, offer a range of different programs. You can sizzle vegetables, make crispy potatoes and treat yourself to a tasty meal, just like a regular oven.

Different Sized Microwaves For Everyone

Our range includes a variety of different microwave sizes for every kitchen, including compact microwaves which are over 30cm tall, to larger microwaves which stand at 45cm tall and over 50cm wide. These appliances are also available in different capacities, so you can select one with a smaller capacity such as a 20-litre microwave, or one with a larger capacity such as 25 litres. If you have a larger kitchen space then a 45cm tall combination microwave is best suited for you, built with innovative technology it’ll quickly and efficiently simmer, boil and crisp your foods. Crisp Cooking and Rapid Defrosting

Many of our combination microwaves feature state-of-the-art programs such as Rapid Defrosting and Dynamic Crisp, to ensure you have full control and freedom over your cooking. The former feature, Rapid Defrosting is perfect for those busier days, as it allows you to defrost foods extremely quickly, we also love the Dynamic Crisp ideal for an even crisp on pizzas, pies or even quiches.
Much like the rest of our state-of-the-art programs, the grill function in your combination microwave is straightforward and simple to use. It creates a grill or gratin effect amongst your foods, thanks to the powerful built-in quartz grill.

Grilling with Hotpoint Microwaves

Similarly to our other programs activating the grill in your microwave grill is a seamless task, simply find the “grill” button and press it, then press the plus or minus buttons to set your ideal cooking time, and then press the “ok”/”start” button. Your microwave will then start grilling your food, we recommend not placing any utensils in the microwave when grilling or re-heating up food. If you’re strapped for time, we also recommend using the Combi Grill function as it’s more efficient and allows you to achieve that tasty, perfect grill effect in an even shorter space of time.
